"And rain will make the flowers grow"
Except here in the SUNSHINE state, we've had rain EVERYDAY for the past TWO WEEKS.
The poor cat thinks that the sun has died.
Or maybe that's just me.
I realize I have been MIA, and my goal of posting monthly just has not happened. My apologies. It's not that life gets in the way (though that's my go to excuse). I have to be truthful and just say that sometimes I'd rather watch the season finale of Madam Secretary than write about an experience. However, I promise that I will finish my goal of writing a blog post once a month. I'll get all twelve in by the end of the year.
And what better way to do that then by planning?
I'm a BIG FAN of planning. I always try to sit down on a Sunday night, go through my week, plan my meals and my workouts. Those are things I prioritize and I want to make sure that season finales do not stop me from accomplishing them. I also have a standing to-do list that I probably rewrite at least every other day. There's something so satisfying about crossing off things on a to-do list. Therefore, here, right now, I'm gonna plan my blog posts. That way they'll actually happen. The only way flowers grow is if you decide you want flowers, plant them, and add a little rain right?
Okay I know that was a cheesy way to tie in a lyric. But the weather right now just screams for it.

Disclaimer: I'm not assigning times to when these posts will be up, nor in what order they will appear. I am merely stating topics or events that I wish to discuss further. Feel free to give me ideas!
Well, thats THIRTEEN pretty solid topics. I'd say I have my work cut out for me. But now that I have them written down, I have a path to follow. *Sigh* If only life in the arts could be that simple right? If only we could know where the next contract comes from. Or when! But I'm learning that even if I don't know that, I can still make goals. And I should make goals. If I don't set goals for myself, how will I know if I've become successful or when I am satisfied? Only you and the Lord can tell you that. No one else can. No director, no audience, no bank account, or Instastory.
Here's to setting goals, making plans, and following through!
